If you are one of the thousands of people that have already enjoyed an intellectually stimulating program at the Conejo Jewish Academy then you are profoundly aware of the educational avenues that are waiting to be unlocked. If you haven’t yet attended an Academy course, let this be the harbinger of new beginnings.
A full array of programs awaits you. From the Aleph-bet to the complexities
of the Kaballah and everything in between - we are confident that you’ll find
a class or two to suit your fancy. Our classes and programs are open to all
adults, regardless of affiliation or background. We look forward to seeing
you at the Academy.
Location
The Conejo Jewish Academy is located at 30345 Canwood St. in Agoura Hills,
one block north of the 101 freeway, just west of the Reyes Adobe exit. Map/Directions
The Academy Annex
To keep up with the great demand for enrollment in the Academy, we are proud
to announce the grand opening of “The Academy Annex” – our newest educational
facility. The Annex, located at 30315 Canwood Street (just 70 yards from the
Academy), will include additional classroom space, a lecture hall, and a Jewish
Resource Library and Study Hall.
Choosing The Class That’s Right For You
Too many classes to choose from? Our staff of rabbis are available to assist you in finding the class or course that is right for you. Please call our office. Still not sure which class is for you? Feel free to sample any of our courses with our “Complimentary Evening Pass” at no obligation. Please call the office for more information.
Classes require a minimum number of participants. Registration for a class
closes when the enrollment has reached maximum capacity. If you cancel a course,
you will receive a full refund provided we are notified before the second
class is held.
Class Structure
All evening classes begin at 8:00 p.m. and conclude between 9:15-9:30 p.m. Complimentary coffee, tea and water are served. We do not offer child-care.
Some courses are accredited by the Bureau of Jewish Education. They are identified throughout the brochure. To earn BJE credits, you must sign-in at the front desk when you arrive for each class.
Audio taping of all classes is permitted. Many of our courses and lectures
are recorded professionally on cassette tape and are available for purchase
immediately following the class.
Payment & Financial Aid
Many of our classes are free of charge. For courses that charge a fee, payment
may be made by cash, check, visa or mastercard. Financial aid is available
for students and others who cannot afford the full fee. Please inquire by
