A Pre-Rosh Hashanah Sermon with

The sounds of the Shofar are often compared to an “Awakening”. Twenty years ago, on Sept. 11, 2001, the world was awakened. In this sermon, we will look back, we will remember, we will reflect and we will resolve to remain “awakened” to the cries of the Shofar of twenty years ago.
